The Altopiano della Vigolana, for its strategic position between Adige and Valsugana Valleys, is an excellent starting-point for a journey on the traces of Tridentine art, culture and history: you should find very interesting a visit to the ruins of the near Austro-Hungarian forts of Brusafer and Fornas, or to Altopiano of Folgaria, Lavarone and Luserna, scattered of first world war fortresses (the museum of Fortresses of Lavarone is to see); the cities of Trento and Rovereto, cities of art, artists and history, the medieval stronghold of Beseno Castle, are only few kilometres away. But also Venice and the Dolomites are reachable in a few time.
